Not for sure, but I think it's Zippy.
Hummingbird Adventures # 17
I've been a bad thread keeper. I am going to start a new thread, and try to catch you all up on the continuing adventures of my hummer friends. As always, please share your stories and photos too!
Makes it a lot of fun.
Okay going all the way back to September 11th. Lets see what I got! (Besides not enough time!) : - )
Here is a blurry photo of the baby girl. It wasn't Zippy perched on the stained glass. But this young lady who is helping herself to a quick drink at the feeder.
Pretty spread wings as she prepares to perch on the micro drip line.
He let his sister have a drink.
I took this one when I was playing with my new camera, which doesn't have a zoom lens. Of the 50 or so photos I took, only this one seemed to be worth keeping, and I had to crop and enlarge it to see what I thought I was seeing. SW, I think I have my own "Trickster"----look closely behind the feeder!
Looks that way to me too, ima. Even though I had to take off my glasses and hold the lap top really close. Even still a nice photo. Sneaky birds! : - D
Got to love 'em.
Even if they do boring things like show you their back. This one is a profile, but looks grainy.
I guess I'm going to break down come spring and see about a photography class. Maybe they'll let me into the Sr. Ctr, even if I am not old enough yet. Forget about the college. Unless you are full time student, you aren't getting a class. Sigh.
Or maybe I was just feeling bad that day. I know it was me and not the camera. Last one from the 13th.
Oh, and I delete most of the hummer photos, crop some and leave others uncropped, it all depends . . .
