Welcome to the 2nd Annual 3 B-House Swap
This swap is a Bat, Bird, and Butterfly House swap. I will start taking names today, August 8 and until August 22. You will then have until Sept 5th, to get your house to your buddy. As for prices I think we should keep it between $15 and $25. Not including postage.

FruitOfTheVine, Boy that was a calm day on the OB,we havent been to the east coast in years,been hitting the panhandle of Florida, Iam a beach bum.Ck out the emerald coast sometime,its the most beautiful beaches ive seen in the states,crystal clear water snow white sand,cant wait 4 days to go

my dad is working on a porch or roof or something at his church, so i ordered mine to be shipped to my buddy. i am excited..i hope they ship it pdq =) but i don't think it will make it by Wednesday. when she gets it, i'll tell her or show her what i wanted to do. oh no...maybe that would be too mean.
but I am inspired to make some...Christmas is coming up!
Well, I'm trying to live by Betty's saying, got the first coat on my buddies birdhouse yesterday evening! I hope I can do this LOL!!
I have a splitting headache today for some reason. Just got up because of it, drinking my coffee and going to take some aspirin in a few, hopefully that will help. It's not a migraine, just a stupid headache.
Oh those bird houses were cute. Hope my person gets hers soon.

jaye, yes far from fires such a tragety, horrible pictures on the news this morning the destruction was terrible prayers to all that lost their homes.
California always gets bad with the fires this time of year because it's so very dry, but I don't remember it being this bad. I bet that Valley is socked in with smoke, does anyone have pictures of the smoke in the Central Valley?
Crissy when you start down 80 towards Sac it's nothing but a huge big brown haze. It's awful, but so far no smoke hanging around here like it did last year when we had the fire in South Lake Tahoe.
I bet it's bad. I was looking on channels 3, 10, 13, and 40, it's not as bad as I thought it was going to be. I'd like to see a picture of the valley from the Altamont, looking down onto Tracy.

I hope my buddy is holding on.. I haven't forgotten about you.. I have been out of town for a couple of days.. I did find a bird house that I wanted to send but also want to send something else to go with it.. So hold on there little buddy a little bit longer.. It should be mailed out in the next two days.. Maybe even tomorrow if I can get the other thing finished in time.. :-)

I am late with mine too.... I finished painting it last night. so will get a coat of varnish on it today and tomorrow.... As soon as it drys it will be in the mail.... It should be in the mail no later then Saturday.

Well, it seems we are all late, but that's surely ok with me. I hope to have mine in the mail this weekend as well. Just think, by next week all of our little birds will have new homes. :)

Mine is in the works and will be hand made too, but not by me or my DH. Sure, it was an empowering experience for me to use our nail gun when we built our decks, along with DH supervising me. But I'm such a ditzy clutz by nature I know I'd end up in the emergency room if I ever tried to use a saw.
So, I sketched a design on paper and have been watching my truly amazing friend bring my buddy's birdhouse to life. It won't have fancy painting but it will be from his heart. I'm shooting for Monday to mail since his daughter's wedding is Saturday.
Congrats on the wedding! This is such a good time of year to get married.
