Peacocks

Plainwell, MI(Zone 6a)

I hope this post is OK with everybody. I'm a bit desperate and I thought posting this in MI would maybe make delivery easier, without having to go through the "shipping" method.
As many of you know my mom came to live with Chuck and I about a month ago. This has proven to be quite a struggle. We're figuring she has progressed to the mid stages of alzhiemers VERY rapidly, we see a specialist on sept 3. then she is suppose to return to Fl. (?) where my dad will care for her as long as possible. As of now , its a 24 hr a day job, and trying to do it on my own has made me a bit sick. i have a aunt who is coming over tomorrow to relieve me for a few hrs if my mom will let her. I REALLY need to sell some birds. My misfortune could definately work in the right persons favor. I am willing to sell for half price. If you know anyone interested in the Heritage breed Naragansett turkey , or India blue, or white , or white cross peacocks, please forward my email address, and or phone number. These are EXCELLENT birds, most out of show quality stock, and current on all medical, and worming.
Thankyou
Birdie

Birdie try advertizing them on the MI Poultry Lovers Forum.
Its a yahoo group you'd have to join but that only takes a minute.

Also try Craigslist and The Backyard Chicken which is a heavy traffic website with a free for sale forum.

So sorry you have to get rid of your beautiful birds Birdie I know you really enjoy them! She has a very nice set-up for them and she keeps them really clean. Are you getting rid of all the little chickens also or just the peacocks? A lady at work has some chickens I should ask her. Ronna

Dori I can set you up!! I bought my first peacocok years ago so he could be like a "flower" in my 1st flower garden. His name was "Blue" and he would walk among the flowers and shrubs dragging his long train "tail". So pretty ^_^

Ronna, I'm for sure selling all the turkeys, most of the chickens , and most of the pea fowl. As of now, long term care for my mom is uncertain, but she's needing 24-7 now, while she's at my house. Don't feel bad for me, we all need to do what we need to do , right?
I was hoping to sell them just by word of mouth and through a few local groups. But I still have some left, so I'll be taking Cottage_Rose's advice and listing whats left on Craigs list, and possibly a few poultry forums.
have a good night all, Birdie
