Fall Training for Clematis

Id like to have clematis growing up one column of my house
- But dont want to use nails.

any way to use 3M removable hooks??
I think they are called.or something like that?

I'll chime in but I'm not expert but I would say use some deer netting up against the column and only anchor in certain places as my limited experience with the clems has been what ever they are climbing on needs to have stability to it or the vines will pull it off.

Hopefully other clem lovers will have better suggestions for you.

Glee, I used these hooks extensively in my classroom. They hold a good bit of weight securely, but they have environmental limits for use. I don't know your climate, so you'll have to check the website to see if they would work outdoors for you. Here's a link to the 3M FAQ site for the Command hooks:
