Paint sprayer for do it yourselfer Not Pro's

I am looking to buy a paint sprayer for some furniture projects. I had a Wagner brand that never worked well and now realize it is missing a small but important piece to the spray nozzle. So want to purchase a new sprayer. Free advice needed. thank you.
