bald hen-need suggestions

I have a flock of laying hens and all but one have a fine set of feathers. The Rhode Island Red is basically bald except on her neck and tail. She got through last winter with few feathers but this year she is really bald and I am afraid she will freeze to death. So I think it is time to get her a coat of some kind. but what kind? I was thinking of miniture poodle wear would fit.

BTW I am not a seamstress and do not own a machine so anything I create must be simple
