Does anyone have a mature Piedmont Gold -- or one that's over 2 years old? I planted mine where it has lots of room to grow and I was hoping it would get huge, but it looks like a small fish in a large pond -- I'm thinking of moving it to a more crowded location. Should I? This is it's second year in my garden -- will the 3rd year be a charm?
Thanks,
Laura

I have seen a Piedmont Gold that is mature, and I do mean mature, but I don't know the age. It was probably over 5' wide and at least 3' tall. It was awesome!! The middle day sun was on it too. This hosta was at Hosta Woods in Randleman, NC, which was on the garden tour with the Hosta Society Convention this past June. I will try to find a picture and send it.
Thanks! I've seen it listed as a "medium" and a "large" in difference sources. I didn't move it afterall -- but moved about everything else in my back yard yesterday. I'll give PG another year and see what it does.
