I didn't realize the leaves might be important in helping ID a Canna. Is this enough to go on?

It could be a Cleopatra. There are a number with similar bloom colorations. Look in "Plant Files", there's a wide variety in there for comparison.

It appears to be Canna Florence Vaughan aka Roma...an early cultivar
