Vines for zone 9 growing up a tree ?

Fresno, CA(Zone 9a)

Any ideas for a vine to plant growing up a tree for zone 9. It will be in full sun.
Thanks in advance for your feedback.

IMHO, Thunbergia grandiflora aka blue sky vine is hard to beat - do a google.com search and see if you like it.

I live in zone 8b/9a and have T. grandiflora, sweet autumn clematis, yellow butterfly vine, trumpet honeysuckle, Mandevillas, Passifloras, hawaiian wood rose, Aristolochias and other vines I can't name right now - all growing up through the trees. In our zone, there aren't many vines we CAN'T grow up through the trees!

I have to agree, the Thungbergia, or any of them are really good bloomers and climbers.
The black eye susan Thungbergia wins the ribbon for constant blooming, and resiliance during the winter.
The Bignonia capreolata Crossvine or Anisostichus are also showy, but the main blooms are in early spring with sporadic blooming during the year.
A great way to train vines up trees is with a decorative chain.
Here are the vines I have around the garden at my place.
