Cherrywood Trellis

Memphis, TN

I know this isn't terribly original, but I must admit I was surprised how easy this was to do and wanted to share it.

I have a tall wild cherry tree that I have been hacking on, taking it down limb by limb. As I was carrying the limbs away yesterday, it occurred to me that the texture and color of the wood were pretty. That in mind, I cut several pieces off and put together this trellis using pipe cleaners (I'll do better next time!). Now I have something to let my little blue day flowers (did someone just say weed?) grow on so they won't take over the flower bed.

I'd love to see any homemade trellises some of you have made!
