Rehabilitating baby birds like robins is driving me right down the drain. Even alternating worms with fruit and dog food, it still cost between 12 and 18 bucks to get one out the door and back in the wild. I've heard about vermacomposting and am wondering if I could raise enough worms for the dozens of robins I have to feed.
Anybody tried this?
Anybody tried worm farming?
I've done it with school groups for several years.
Use a plastic tote for a bin, google worm farming for instructions. Its very easy.
