High Blood Pressure

Went to the dr the other day and my blood pressure was really high 196/98. He uped the dosage of one of my blood pressure pills plus put me on a water pill. Usually when my blood pressure is high I get headaches, this time I started getting dizzy. Any one have any idea how long it will take to bring my blood pressure down? Have to go back in three weeks to see him again Paul
