Please share your experiences with "Little Lamb." I was going to buy one but they sold it before I could get it.
It was so nice with the smaller blooms. I read that it is a dwarf Hydrangea, but then the info said it reaches 6-8 feet tall! This is kind of confusing because that would be a huge plant. Please post pics if you can. Thanks!
Hydrangea paniculata "Little Lamb"
Maniac - the only relevance to being a dwarf on Little Lamb are the blooms itself. However the plant in general itself is not. Little Lamb is a 'cousin' of PeeGee which we know are giant beauties.
If you're looking for something small that got white blooms - consider Hydrangea Quercifolia 'Sikes Dwarf'. Only reaches 3-4 feet tall but the spread can reach 6 feet wide if you let it. It's an oak leaf and as an added bonus, foliage change color also during fall season.
Then there's Pia. I think the smallest of all Hydrangeas.
New series called 'Cityline' got compact hydrangeas in fabulous colors - 2-3 feet ideal for containers and small city gardens hence the name.
