I'm not a Hydrangea person, though I do have a few.
These shots are from a Garden Tour we took last weekend in Williamsburg, OH.
I thought they might be of interest here on this Forum.

I've added many of these shots to Plantfiles and also a new Cultivar found here.
PLEASE let me know if I've mislabeled any of the plants.
I tried to take Name Tag and Flower shots in order but......
As I said I am not a Hydrangea grower.

Hydrangea Garden from a Tour
Awesome work, Ric. I had a good time "visiting".
Thank you!
We had a great time there.
What a great tour & pictures. Thanks' for sharing

Thanks for the pics. I have added mystic opal to my must have list. I'll find room somewhere
BR it's the one smaller one that caught my eye too.
'Unique' is a tree! And stunning too.
Ric
I almost bought mystic opal today but I bought Big Daddy instead. I will get it in the fall. I am so addicted
Thanks for posting, ric. There are so many that are new to me. Thanks for adding them to Plant Files....
I just bought a couple of hydrangeas this week to fill in the front shrubs...I bought Oakleaf 'silver princess', I think. I want them to match what we already have growing, but I'm not so sure they will...
Beautiful pictures of hydrangeas. Thanks for posting your pictures. I have to ask, I can't tell from the picture, but what do they have coming out of the watering cans to resemble water? That looks cute and clever.
It's atually strips of clear plastic sheeting.
Like builders plastic.
Pretty cool when the wind blew they rippled just like water.
See if this opens for you.

t and all you're welcome.
It was a FUN tour.
I still have a few more shots to editand I'll have all the gardens up.
t you have to do the tour next year.
It was KILLER!
Ric
That's so nice Ric Thanks for sharing!
H10 - Plastic sheeting? Interesting and cool idea. Thanks for the info. I couldn't get the link to open for me. Maybe I have to have a Flickr account?
Thanks Katie!
I think lovely Gardens are meant to be shared.
We ALL know the work they entail.
I figured you guys were the ones who would most appreciate this space.
If anyone has any other Forums you think would like to see this please link or tell me and I'll let them know.
Saw another great couple of gardens yesterday.
Not Hydrangea based but but I can now recognize a few varieties after the crash course... LOL!
I'm editing shots now.
I think 'Annbelle'......
Ric
Ric -
Thanks for posting the close up. What a clever idea that is! Also I've never seen a birdbath like that in the other picture. It's looks really good in that setting, hmmm I could see it tucked in among my Annabelles...
You are Welcome!
The bird bath is from a series I'm working on from a tour last weekend.
LOTS of artisans working in the Yard Art form.
I'll DMail you a link when it's up.
Also thanks for letting me know about Flickr not opening to Original w/o a subscription.
I will post some of my shots on Picture Trail too.
H. 'Unique'
Ric
Unique's a beauty... and thank you!
Just thought I'd add that Home Depot (Beechmont) has 'tree' hydrangeas on sale for 25% off. They offer two different kinds. Pretty good deal, I think.
t I saw some 'Unique's' at Lowe's the other day.
Have you tried the Alexandria, KY Lowe's?
Nicely done plants. Always 8-10 clearance racks @ 50% off.
They were selling full racks for 90% off the other day.
They also have some seriously nice #5 and #7 pots of Harry Lauder Walking Sticks.
They would make a cool Winter feature in your yard.
AND they are Deer Resistant!
Ric
Thanks, ric. Will definitely put that Lowe's on my trolling route!
Do you have a fall picture of Unique, henryr10?
Luis I don't currently have a Fall shot but I'll start looking around.
