I think this is Ron Rousuea.. will have to check my gardenmap!
July in the garden part 2 2009.
Last one... I don't want to bore ya'll!
Every year! I make cuttings from the ones in the ground and pull up the old plants. I also cut back the ones in pots that go in the greenhouse and root those too. I have coleus in several places as I have quite a few shade beds. The ones I posted here are all in my actual "Coleus Bed" (except for the ones by the pond)
Oh yeah!! DROOOOOOL! Hmmm I am hoping to winter a selection in the house as houseplants.. do you think it will work???
I will collect seed from my Kong.. but the other varieties have yet to bloom....
Well, heres another daylily... I will have to look it up on the map, its a newb from last year.

BB I believe that of all of the daylilies Double Bourbon is now my favorite.
Yardqueen your coleus looks so healthy and happy, mine end up all eaten up and dirty looking what is your secret.
Morning glories LOL, they and the trumpet vine are the two plants I wish I had never introduced into my property, I have overcome with both and just can't rid either of them.
I heard on 60 mins. or something that morning glory seeds are now the new marijuana plant or something, that there is something in the seeds to make one "happy land" or something and that a lot of vendors are being bought out? Anyone else heard anything about that?
Here is a link to the article that says chewing the seeds releases an LSD type effect.

I adore blue blooms. Our summer is so hot that they look COOOOL! Your blooms are all stunning.
Sorry about last night, and not replying... We had rain REAL RAIN and my internet tower got struck by lightning or something and it was out till now! We did get a fabulous rain though. I would say at least 2 inches or more! I had several pots blown over!
Anyway blossum, I am about to do a few coleus cuttings myself. Some of the ones in front of the pond are too tall! I have grown them in the "Plant room" of my house before. That is where we wintered stuff over before I got my greenhouse. Keep an eye out for mealy bugs, though...
Don't know about the morning glory seeds... I will look at your article, but I always thought they were poisonous. Never did LSD or Marijuana so I won't do the morning glories either! LOL
I never did any of the druggie things either, but found it interesting that kids seem to find whatever they can to injest.
