In May I purchased the plant, planted in my garden. It flowered & then disappeared. I have some plants that do that every year or did I lose the plant due the rain & amount of slugs that I've encountered this year in my garden. Any help you could offer would be appreciated.

I bought the same one this year and the man who sold me warned me of this. His words: "Mark it or by July you'll never know it even existed." I marked it and am so glad I did!!!
