Can anyone tell me what size pots you use to tansplant your seedlings into? Mine from January of 2008 are about the size of pearl onions now and I have been transplanting them today....most into 4 inch pots...because that is what I had...but if they need something larger in order to mature correctly, I would like to know.
Thanks!

Love Green Goddess!

Janet, thanks! I think 4" pot is ok for now. I put mine in 4" pots too, when it gets bigger I'll move it up to 6-8" pots.

OK!!! Finally we get another thread for this! Sorry to just come back now. I had to pay bills! LOL!!!

Now where did I stop? Ohhhh...the hippies in the garage.

What's next is H.johnsonii (?) which I bought off Ebay last year. I wanted to try to plant it in my garden to see how hardy it is. Hahaha...I chickened out and stored it in the garage! It just woke up and bloomed...warm temp. lover I guess.

The yellows bloomed like a month ago. But Piyo-Piyo is sending out another scape again. What a giver on such a small bulb...just 14cm.

And another "Finally"!!!

A performing Picotee!!!

I have had so many Picotees and they would just bloom once after planting the newly purchased bulb, and then go downhill. This Picotee came back with 2 scapes on the mother bulb, and the attached bulblet also gave out a scape.

Woooohoooooo!!!

Hi JT! You are most welcome. SAR sure is special. I think it's 2 flowers accepted the pollens I gave it. Hmmmmm.... a few more weeks and we shall see. ;-)

Now could this Picotee be an "improved" clone? I surely hope so.

Take a look at that! What a performer!
