Lantana Question

Will it survive zone 3-4? If not I will trade it for a plant that will. this is a nice big clump that was sent to me by my mom in texas. I know very little on this plant

Yep. It might make it through the winter as far north as zone 7 if protected and if the winter isn't too bad. But I don't think it would ever make it through a zone 3/4 winter :(

If you don't find someone who wants to trade, I think you can harvest the seeds, or perhaps take cuttings to start for next year?

We're in Zone 6b to 7 here in the mtns. of NC. My sister-in-law overwintered them and didn't even know to mulch them...

Hi MWSB I have a large lantana in a pot that I roll into the garage for winter. You may still have to cover her with a fuzzy blanket. Our winters are less severe than yours. You could drop her off at my house on your way to Florida

that sounds like a deal. :)

If you can't get it to survive, I still have some seeds for the red lantana.

Next spring, let me know and I can send you cuttings as mine starts to grow. It should be a perennial here.

Thank you so much, i will keep that in mind.
