How hot is your greenhouse now????

96* outside,104* inside,all doors are open all fans are running,shade cloth is on ,pond with fountain
going,and its still dawng awful hot inside,feeding the fish twice a day in there,water is 65* in the pond,hope it doesn't boil them,I add water from the well every evening it's at 58* coming out of the ground.

Winters just started here. Still gets a max. of 30 deg cel. inside during the day though and has been 80+% humidity with all the rain wev'e had, plants love it.

LOL,hard to believe you have a winter there,do you ever have to heat your greenhouse?

82° (Heat Index 87°) at 10 AM!
GH is 92° and climbing.
Doors are open shades are drawn.......
Cactus are in Heaven!

Tropicman-no not really. In winter we'd be lucky to get a frost.

It's usually a frost that starts and end our winters!

Max temp 2d ago was 95F outside. Max temp inside 95F.

Shade cloth, misters, exhaust fans.

Isn't that just terrible you have to do all that just to keep as if you were standing outside!

I took everything out of the greenhouse, it is hitting 110 in the shade with everything open, I even took out some panels. Our weather has been way above normal this month. The fan doesn't help when the outside temp is almost 100 with soupy humidity. I guess it will be a 3 season greenhouse, just not summer. I had a cucumber vine that was producing, but it was too hot to go in and water and pick, so I moved it outside.

I know the heat index is around 106*,last 3 days not a breathe of wind either!

The temp is the same inside as outside

It is 30' X 100' and your right it is hard to walk around.

And very colorful as well!

I love all the coleus-lots of color.

The thermometer quits at 120ª. So it is at least that hot in both greenhouses.
Hotter though I am sure.

Dale- if the temp. is the same in your plant house is the cover just for frost or something? Its a great big house.
Just funny seeing them plants under plastic when here they grow like a weed with hardly any care. hehe!

Sometimes it can rain too much here.

I leave the top on year round. I am 60 it is too much work to remove and replace twice a year. The apex is 16' and I am nervous on a ladder (now).

oh ok. Yes it is a big house Dale ,im young and i don't think i'd want to change it either. haha!
