I like those cactus varieties think I'll get me some next year!

Pinellas Park, FL(Zone 10a)

Yeah, I didn't like them at first, but they grow on you (I swear, no pun intended). The more varieties I see, the more I like!

Hi there, tropicman, is that first dahlia a Bodacious? I have one that looks just like that, but it is always the last to bloom in my garden. It's lovely!

Bushland, TX(Zone 6a)

No it was a Akita,so the package says!!!

Portland, OR

Well, it is gorgeous! I might have to get one (twist my arm) and compare it to my Bodacious.

Bushland, TX(Zone 6a)

Can you show me a pic of Bodacious?

Portland, OR

Sure, as soon as I can figure out how to post it..... I am not very computer savvy, but I will try.....I think this might be it.....it is a late bloomer, so this is last year's photo.

Wow they both are very close to each other,is yours a dinner plate variety?
Or are you pinching flower buds to get one big flower?

Portland, OR

it must be a dinner plate because I have never pinched them.

Bushland, TX(Zone 6a)

You growing them in a container?Inside?

Portland, OR

All of my dahlias are in the ground outside.
