Beans and Sheath Cleaning

Well my guy has a bean or two. How do I know? His sheath is a bit swollen and a friend and I tried to clean him up but were unable to get the bean out.

He is better, cleaner and more comfortable, but I have to get the beans out...he's had up to 3 which were removed by the vet. I've done some online research and I think I'll get some KY and try again.

Here's my question. What have you found to be the best way to do this and what products do you use?
