I picked the adults off or squashed them every time I saw one, but they still managed to lay enough eggs, obviously, to make lace out of my young eggplant leaves. I have used rotenone but I would prefer not to, and we've had so much rain that as soon as I apply it it's washed off. Ideas?

Howdy, your posts are great! We have a thing called "Garden Hotline" run by Seattle Tilth in Seattle. You can google it and get the number. They only give out organic methods advice.
Or, you might call your local organic garden groups. Please post what you find out!
