Is this plant one that was started from seed this spring or is it an older vine? One of my favorite flowers!

This is elegans. Got it as a 6 in plant last fall. here's a pic from a distance taken a few weeks ago. We counted 18 buds/flowers yesterday.
That's a recycled wooden ladder for an "arbor". We're putting up the other half of the ladder for my A. trilobata.
