My first quilt project

Marietta, OH(Zone 6a)

ok, it's not the normal big, prize-winning quilt that you all do so well, but I'll get there! I'm experienced at sewing, but am attempting to learn quilting a piece at a time....lol. I had a couple young nieces with birthdays coming up, and had seen this really cute rag quilt in pink gingham. Thought I could safely try it out as it was small and a new concept to me, as I've been out of the sewing thing for years while I worked non-stop. I found these directions on the 'net, picked out some printed flannels and this is how it turned out after 2 wash/dry cycles.. did I do good?
