This spring I pruned a small dogwood that is in an area near one of my compost piles.This morning as I puttered around saw some leaves coming thru leaves in the compost assuming a weed I went to pull it and it was a twig I had pruned off the dogwood and was all newly rooted in two spots on the twig and growing leaves on its own.

Actually I put it back the way I found it thought someone may want it as I have several already.It appears as though one could get at least two schrubs out of it .
