Unknown caudiciform - maybe an Adenium?

I found this at Green Thumb along side a bunch of Adenium obesas. The salesman told me he thought it was another type of Adenium but he didn't know which. I can't seem to find anything that looks like this. Can anyone identify it?

It is Monadenium montanum var. rubellum.
