Needs a name please.

Orange, CA

I purchased this plant several years ago from a vendor at a local garden show & sale. The vendor had Australian plants for sale.

Huminging birds love this plant.

Hi Snowtop,
You have a Grevillea. Someone else will have to chime in for the exact type because there are a lot of them and they are not my special subject! Check out the Plant Files listings here: http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/adv_search.php?searcher[common]=&searcher[family]=&searcher[genus]=grevillea&searcher[species]=&searcher[cultivar]=&searcher[hybridizer]=&searcher[grex]=&search_prefs[blank_cultivar]=&search_prefs[sort_by]=genus&images_prefs=both&Search=Search

Ciao, KK.

That could be the Red Silky Oak - Grevillea banksii: http://linus.socs.uts.edu.au/~don/larvae/plants/prot/grevillea-banksii.jpg

Sydney, Australia

'Misty Pink' is my guess.

The red G banksii grows wild around here. The flowers pictured are way too pink.
