So many gorgeous pics. So wet here lately. Still so far behind and now there are weeds that sprung up in the past few days that are over five feet tall!

Gaillardia - Tokajer, I think.

Meredith - great blooms! I like the coral, even if it is not.

Mophead hydrangea - must be slightly more alkaline in this spot.

Cornus Satomi.

Hydrangea Annabelle. This is the most impressive it has ever been. And guess what - I did not cut it back at all this year. It was pretty late and the new growth had started so I just clipped the dead ends and wanted to see the result.

Those are all so pretty Victor. You're right, that Annabelle is very impressive! so is Satomi.

Beautiful color on that lupine, Celeste. Love the baby blue, of course!

I think the two hydrangeas get about the same size as Annabelle, Shelly. (Or Shelly, Annabelle!)

Kershaw, SC(Zone 8b)

The only Jap. Iris that bloomed for me. I purchased 10, 7 came back, this is the only one to bloom...AND I can NOT find the plant tag...lol.

I planted about 6-7 "new to me" Alliums this year. Here is one of the "oddities," Hair:

I don't know about anyone else, but this weather has done a number on my roses. I don't have a huge collection, but all of them are pretty much flopped over and petals are everywhere. On top of this wet and sorta muggy weather, the Aphids are going bananas and the weeds are having a sock hop in the new bed...grrrrrr....

Here is the best pic I could take of a new rose for me, I planted it last year, it's Origold:

For all of you Clemheads out there, here is my box store no name generic clem that is going gang busters this year!

The other "oddball" Allium for me this year was Schubertii. I couldn't get the pic just right, I tried and tried...but this thing is around a foot tall, give or take, but some of the outside florets are abut a foot out! It probably is about as round as a soccer ball, if not a little bit bigger.

No clue on this Kalmia...I think, this is a stretch, due to the condition I purchased it under, and the fact that I never thought I'd see it bloom, I never really paid much attention to it...but I think Olympic, or Olympia...something like that was in the cultivar name...not sure though.

And lastly, and don't be jealous :-) This is one of the L. Martagon's that I got as a bday gift about 3 years ago (give or take)...I was given 3, and this year 5 stalks have come up!
