Variegated Rudbeckia

I posted this in the Perennials forum too, but I wanted to see what my fellow Coneflower fanatics thought!

I planted a bunch of Rudbeckia seeds this year via Winter Sowing. Let's just say I planted a lot and many different kinds. I have tons of them too ;) I separated all the babies and made a huge flower bed of them all mixed. There is one that has variegated leaves. Some of the leaves have more streaks than others, but it's like white, lighter green and dark green.

Here's the best picture I could get using a flash tonight...

How very interesting and cool! I certainly hope that your experimentation works out:) Can't wait to see it when it blooms.

Thanks, tggfisk! I'll post more pics as it grows. I love variegated plants and this one caught my eye from across the yard. LOL.

I'll bet that it really 'glows'! Since it's a Rud, maybe it'll bloom soon. Hope that variegation holds up. It'll be a real stunner. Makes me want to grow out every single seed, lol! You never know which one might be the next sensation... Must get bigger yard;)
