temporary potting bench

Can anyone recommend what I can use for a temporary potting bench? I thought about using an old door up on concrete blocks, but I think I should use something that's water-proof. I'm also looking for ideas on how to hang up garden tools (again, temporarily outside since I take everything in in the fall). Thanks!
