Also notice that funny brown thing on the other side of the leaf. I hadn't seen it when i took the photo but afterwards i went out and there was a little leaf hopper in that spot so i suppose that is what it is. The leaf hopper looks like it has never seen a caterpillar before. I don't think it meant any harm but i flicked it off anyway.
