Do/did you have a productive summer garden? Anyone planting a fall garden? Despite bountiful rain and mild temperatures my garden has been only okay so far. I've had much better tomato years. We're drowning in beans. Eggplants are fair with Japanese being early Italian not ready to pick yet. Peppers are late. Dixie butter peas are starting to bloom while zipper peas are only six inches. I've got collards up and doing well. Siberian and Red Russian kale is sprouting as are Windsor broad beans. Harry's Black Jungle limas are very productive as usual.

About butter peas...I grow the white seeded version that comes in farm packs from Imperial seed and mine climb like crazy despite the online bush description. They are now 4' and still going (see the week old photo).
