ALL the foliage for some reason on my Black Hollyhocks has turned crispy and shriveled away.
I never did know what caused it but they are growing new leaves from the ground so the show might still be on for August or Sept. I may have posted this pic but now there are no leaves on that one, I think some new little green leaves are coming though. I'm wondering when the black is gonna wear off of them. Hollyhock seeds have always been one of the most reliable seeds that I've ever grown.
That's a pretty pink Hollyhock there too. I bought 2 Yellow Hollyhock roots a few months ago and the suckers haven't even broke the surface of the dirt (I planted them in April)!

Just fyi, I have 'Purple Prince's and they don't look like their photos of it..lol
