I think I would need to examine an actual flower to make sure it had no pollen bearing florets. But the femina phenomenon is not limited to zinnias. And some non-femina zinnias also don't have pollen, and I like to pick one of those as a breeder, because I don't have to go the trouble to remove florets to emasculate the bloom.
