The other surprise (more like shock) is a flower bud on my Musa Sweetheart, it has not started to open yet. I also found a flag leaf on another stalk on the same plant. It seems appropriate that I found a "flag" leaf today. I am doubtful that fruit set this late in the summer will mature before cold weather sets in but I have been waiting years to see any edible fruit at all.
