The wattle birds get along fine with the little New Holland honeyeaters here Jean and Gabi, probably because they outnumber the wattlebirds..The blue wrens and the big fat doves all wander around amongst the bushes, though only the doves really wander, the wrens flitter.
We are in a bird flightpath of some sort, every year around this time, hundreds of heron and pelicans fly over in groups and when I say hundreds, I'm not kidding....the herons are in groups of about 50 and they come across the bay to the peninsula, maybe they're going to Swan Bay, which is a protected area....the pelicans are in smaller groups, but they just keep coming all afternoon.

Charleen that is a lovely butterfly, we don't have many spectacular ones in Victoria, if they are here, they hide from me.
