It's a toss up whether it would do better in the humid air outside but a little bit too warm, or inside in the a/c - dry and too cool. I'm betting on outdoors for mine. As long as you can find a spot where you'll walk by it often so you don't forget about it. IF it's somewhere that a sprinkler will give it a light mist fairly often, that would be an excellent spot.
