My caladiums survived beautifully this winter - I rinsed all the soil off them, put them into empty garden pots, and placed them on top of shelving in the basement. I never watered them all winter. In spring I took them down and was surprised to see everyone had sprouts 1 to 3 inches long depending on what they were. I put them in fresh soil and a few weeks later and I ended up with this: |
