Hi Dana, Mimidi, and cute little doggy. It looks like he wants to come outside and play.

It looks like that is a Jasminum polyanthum, also called winter jasmine and pink jasmine. It is an easy vine to care for and has flowers which have a strong fragrance when in bloom. I would recommend keeping it outdoors as long as possible and then bring it indoors when temperatures drop below 45. It needs a seasonal drop of 18 degrees in temperature to bloom in the wintertime. See this link: http://www.mtholyoke.edu/offices/botan/feat_plant/jasminum/j... and this one: http://plantsdatabase.com/go/1639/index.html

If you can keep it outdoors all year long in a protected area, it and you will be the happiest. I think that, if you do get it to bloom indoors, the fragrance will be too strong for your liking.
