my peonies were rescued from a house the city was going to demolish. My mom and dad and I dug up everything we could haul away. Ferns, roses, peonies, sedum, sixty years of the old lady's gardening. It was sad.

The city plowed it all under and then removed the topsoil and built a parking lot. This will be the first year they bloom for me and I am excited. you can see them a little, right under the window
