I have never grown luffa before and recieved a grant from the State of Michigan to grow a garden with my day care kids that I take care of. I thought that luffas sounded kind of neat for the kids as one of the many things we are trying to grow. We started them indoors a week and 3 days ago in the burpee ultimate growing system. They are getting quite big and we can see that the roots are coming out the bottom of the plant tray. Any suggestions as to what I should do?? Are they going to survive like this for at least 3 more weeks? It is still to cold to put them out and we are no where near our last frost.
