Here is Comtesse de Bouchaud I rescued from a nursery and planted late last month. It was all brown and almost dead but the root system was huge in a 2 gallon container. They were selling them at $3.99. A drastic markdown from the original price of $24.99. Now it'growing again happily in it's new home.

The trellis by the way is from the same nursery. Believe it or not, they have them on cllearance for just $5. Bought a total of 5 trellises for $5 each, and of course 5 different clematis for just $3.99 each.
