A Bobcat or Lynx has a short tail and is smaller in size. My son occasionally puts corn out so I think the adult doe wasn't prepared to share anything that remained on the ground with the younger deer. cpartschick, it doesn't surprise me that mountain lions have been seen in Michigan, on occasion. There was a time when Coyotes weren't seen in some states. Now, every state has coyotes. And, all animal species become disoriented on occasion, thus, rare sightings. Here's another recent photo from the game camera ..... they are a lot of fun. |
