Melinda always worked a lot of cinnamon and garlic into our diet during flu season. She claimed those foods have anti-viral properties. If you like those flavors, they certainly would not do you any harm. And, who knows, they might actually help. We never came down with the flu while Mindy was here doing most of the cooking.
