I was going to start the pool filter this AM but I noticed quite a few egg masses floating about, I may have to get wet so I can transfer them to the ponds where some will survive and some will be live food. We have been running the pool so as to be eco friendly for a number of years. Very little chlorine and low copper levels have been very effective, it does require a little more filtration but the tree frogs thrive and the pets and deer drink it. Jr does notice if he swims on a chlorine day (stings his eyes) but otherwise I'm happy with it. If I find a reasonable source for a hydrous nickle compound I probably reduce the chlorine even further. Ric
