The biggest flowers I've seen have been the white. Aborigines eat the tubers after cooking. The flower stems are eaten, like celery, after the thin skin is peeled off. And they also eat the seeds either raw or ground into a paste, shaped into cakes and baked in hot coals. This one is in my dam at home.
