I thought you might be interested in these photos. The first is I think 2 Brugmansia growing in the lawn on the North side of this house near the Berri Winery, they have no shelter and the heat we have had for the last couple of weeks has knocked all the flowers off (it has also cooked thousands of tons of grapes) but they are there waiting for a break in the weather and away they'll go. The reason I think Brugmansia is that until joining DG I had not heard of them and would have said they must be a Datura of some sort with apricotty flowers. However the point is they have come through some temps that were in the high forties, celsius.
The plants referred to are back from the roses.
