Claypa, Your Redwood and light display is charming. I too had a Dawn Redwood seedling but was not brave enough to plant it anywhere. It became a gift to a friend with a large property. Hopefully, I'll get to see it over the holidays. I hope all of those needles will be future compost.

Gita, I too am a scavenger of decorating bits. Most of mine end up on greens or packages. I can't just put a bow on anything!!
