The ruffles on the standards, which are just too cute, and the pattern of markings on the falls are a match in form to Agate Pass. Thank you Jean Witt ~ so sorry I doubted your iris.

As it was purchased as Agate Pass and ID made by another who knows it, I’ll be scrubbing the ‘NOT’ from its name sign this spring. I imagine the color difference has some basis in carotene expression…but that’s as far as my imagination goes. …maybe that same expression is what makes our local sweet corn - the best!
