You could try planting them in terracotta or cement pots like they do in Italy because they hold the warmth ...put that pot in the warmest place you can find (hopefully frost free and it should work ...I will pop some (rooted) in for you next time I send you some sticks (pick some off yours too and place them in pre boiled but lukewarm water on a sunny window sill.).I read that the ichromas don't mind cooler conditions so that is why they are doing so well for you ...I sure hope they won't mind heat.
